Long-time "Big Spin" viewer and Atascadero resident Betty Smith was on KSBY Saturday as a Fantasy 5 contestant.

SLO County Supervisors Tuesday threw their weight behind the creation of a seven-member task force of people who can work with others in an objective manner to solve problems at the county’s animal shelter, and urged everyone to apply. Supervisors did not go into detail about problems at the shelter, withholding that information until its meeting on the subject Aug. 26.

SACRAMENTO, Calif.----"Am I dreaming?" asked Kathie Robinson of Anza after she won $100,000 during this week's Big Spin show. Robinson outplayed nine other contestants in Aces High and then proceeded to the wheel to spin for a big prize.
