Batavia Downs Gaming is located at 8315 Park Road, in Batavia, New York, just off the I-90 New York State Thruway between Buffalo and Rochester. The property officially opened as a 1/2 mile race track on September 20, 1940 and added New York State Lottery VLTs  in 2005.

Live harness racing runs July through December with a 6:35pm post time on Wednesday,  Friday, and Saturday and 1:15pm post time all Sundays in August and occasional special Mondays.

The casino has about 600 gaming machines made by Bally, IGT, and GTECH.  The casino is open 8am to 4am daily.

Fortuna's is located on the gaming floor at Batavia Downs and offers three menus throughout the day. The $5.99 menu gets most of the action with awesome choices for player card holders like spaghetti parmesan and rotini primavera and more. The lunch menu offers great Italian fare at reasonable prices and the dinner menu reads as if it were from an upscale trattoria, without the upscale prices.

Thomas Thurman puts his signature on the logo of Thurman's Rush 34 Sports Bar at Batavia Downs. The venue s located on the gaming floor and offers up plenty of big screen TVs for watching the current sporting events, a whole line up of  hearty fare including the Thurmanator, a 10 oz. half ground Angus and half ground bacon burger with Franks Red Hot, sliced blue cheese and green onion on a soft baked pretzel roll. Of course you can get beef on weck and a host of pub bites including wings, pizza, and pretzels.

The Clubhouse and Rail Bar

The Clubhouse and Rail Bar at Batavia Downs is located on the second floor and offers a great variety of light fare and complete meals as well as drinks in a relaxed setting overlooking the harness racetrack. Enjoy a Sunday brunch getting ready for the races or lunch and dinner every race day. The Clubhouse opens in July and closes again at the end of the racing season in early December. Race fans love this place and casino goers are known to frequent the venue during race season as well.
