Boomtown Casino  New Orleans is actually located in Harvey, Louisiana on the West Bank of the Mighty Mississippi just across the river from the Big Easy. When you visit you'll only be about 15 minutes from the French Quarter. You will meet mostly locals here, rather than the international crowd you might expect to see in Atlantic City or Las Vegas.

The casino is housed on a riverboat that is 380 feet long and has a 30,000 square foot gambling floor. Players will find well over 1,400 slots and video poker machines, 29 gaming tables and a 7 table poker area. Boomer's is the nightlife spot here featuring great music late into the night. The five-story, 150-room and 8 suite hotel features a fitness center and 15,000 sq ft of meeting and event space. There are four restaurants including an upscale steakhouse and a buffet.
