Buffalo Rivers Casino & Lodge Review
Update 5-18-2016: As of May 18 there has been no news on progress or opening. The casino website and Facebook pages are down. One local news reports states that, "On the east side of Montana, the Assiniboine & Sioux Tribes of the Fort Peck Reservation had plans to build a $33 million casino and hotel, but the project has been halted indefinitely, according to tribal officials."
We'll update this listing if anything new develops.
According to the Buffalo Rivers Casino website, "
The beautiful Buffalo Rivers Casino & Lodge will bless the ground on June 15, and was to open its doors in May 2016. Located at Highway 2 and BIA 170, and just over 50 miles from Williston, ND, Buffalo Rivers is designed to be not just a gaming facility, but also an entire entertainment and vacation destination.
The facility will have a gaming floor with 400 Vegas-style, Class III Video Gaming Machines, a 400-plus person events center, four poker tables, a 75-room hotel, a 150-person restaurant/buffet, a snack bar, a lounge that can accommodate live entertainment, and a gift shop. Aesthetically, Buffalo Rivers will strive to honor Native culture, while also promoting and encouraging fun and excitement."
