By day, the family friendly Howard Johnson Curaçao Plaza Hotel & Casino's Bay Beach Club in the Caribbean offers tours of the surrounding eco park and opportunities for canoeing, horseback riding, mountain biking and snorkeling. After dark, the club becomes a destination for guests wanting to luxuriate in the vibrant island nightlife. The Curacao Howard Johnson stands between the Caribbean Sea and the Spanish Water Lagoon, surrounded by more than 50 quaint shops, museums and restaurants in the center of Willemstad. Divers can get instruction and rent equipment from the Howard Johnson Dive Club, while gamers can enjoy the 1,500 square foot casino. For the hungry, the hotel's Otra Bar and Restaurant and Havana Café reel in the guests with international cuisine. Guests can also indulge in luscious desserts in the hotel's Haagen Dazs Ice Cream Parlor.
