Pensacola Greyhound Track & Poker Room Review
Pensacola Greyhound Track and Poker Room is located at 951 Dog Track Road, in Pensacola, Florida. The venue features live greyhound racing, daily simulcast betting on live races around the country, and a poker room with live cash games, tournaments and promotions.
General admission is only $2 and Seniors 55 and older get in free to all matinees performances. You can catch the fever of brief but furiously fast (sometimes reaching 45 mph) greyhound racing from the airy grandstand, the lounge, or fully-enclosed, climate-controlled Kennel Club. If you'd prefer to lean over the rails to cheer on your champion, that's okay too!
The Poker Room opens at 10am seven days a week and stays open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday.
Gaming at Pensacola Greyhounds & Poker
In addition to the excitement of live greyhound racing right at the park where you can catch the heated breath and feel the thundering paws of these fleet creatures, you can also enjoy simulcast betting.
Simulcast betting is done in real time just as if you were at the horse track or greyhound course you are betting on. Wagers are pari-mutuel and you can bet on multiple races at different venues in a way you could never do in person because the races may run at the same time at Flagler as they do at Orange Park. You can also bet on live Jai Alai matches in the fronton's season such as Dania Jai Ala.
