Colorado Cash 5 Lotto Game
In 1996, Cash 5 was presented by the Colorado Lottery and has been paying out large cash prizes, six days a week ever since then. With a twenty thousand dollar ($20,000) top prize, it’s no wonder this game is a big hit!
How to Play the Cash 5 Lotto Game: Playing Cash 5 is not only easy and fun, but exciting as well. Players simply choose five (5) numbers between one and thirty-two (1-32) or select a Quick Pick and the computer will choose them. Each play costs one dollar ($1). Drawings are held every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at approximately 7:35 p.m. in Pueblo, Colorado. At this time the winning lotto results will be announced.
There are four (4) ways to win playing Cash 5. The overall odds of winning are 1:6.2.
To win the twenty thousand dollar ($20,000) jackpot, players must match all five (5) numbers drawn. The odds of a player matching all five (5) numbers are 1:201,376. Players who match four (4) out of the five (5) numbers drawn will win two hundred dollars ($200). The odds of a player matching four (4) numbers are 1:1,492. If a player matches three (3) of the five (5) numbers drawn, they will win ten dollars ($10). The odds of a player matching three (3) numbers are one in fifty-seven (1:57).
The final way to win a cash prize in Cash 5 is by matching two (2) numbers. The odds of matching two (2) of the five (5) numbers drawn are one in seven (1:7). Players who match two (2) numbers win one dollar ($1).
Persons must be eighteen (18) years of age to purchase Cash 5 lottery tickets. Cash prizes must be claimed within one hundred and eighty (180) days of the date of the drawing.
Colorado Lotto Game
Lotto is Colorado Lottery’s in-state pari-mutuel game with a top cash prize starting at approximately one million dollars ($1 million). Each time the jackpot is not won, it rolls over to the next drawing.
How to Play Cash 5 Lotto: Like Cash 5, Lotto is very easy to play. Lotto players begin by selecting six (6) numbers between one and forty-two (1-42) or having the computer select the numbers by choosing a Quick Pick. Each play costs one dollar ($1). Players can choose to play their numbers consecutively in upcoming drawings by telling the retailer how many advance draws they would like to play.
Overall odds of winning are one in thirty-five (1:35). To win the jackpot, Lotto players must match all six (6) of the numbers drawn. The odds of a player matching all six (6) of the numbers are 1:5,245,786. Players matching three (3), four (4) or five (5) of the six (6) numbers will also win a cash prize. All cash prize total amounts depend on the number of tickets sold and the number of winners. All cash prizes must be claimed within one hundred and eighty (180) days of the date of the drawing.

You must be eighteen (18) years of age to purchase lottery tickets in the state of Colorado.
Lotto jackpot winners can choose to receive their cash prize in one lump sum or in twenty-six (26) annual payments. Lump sum payments are fifty percent (50%) of the jackpot total. Winners who choose the twenty-six (26) annual payments will receive 2.5% of the jackpot share in the first payment. The annual amount will increase by 3.7% each year for the remaining twenty-five (25) payments.
All Colorado Lottery Retailers will redeem winning tickets of up to one hundred and fifty dollars ($150). Some will redeem anything up to five hundred and ninety-nine dollars ($599). Any and everything else can be redeemed at any of the four (4) State Lottery Offices.
Colorado PowerBall Lottery Game
The Colorado Lottery also participates in a multi-state, jackpot lottery called PowerBall. The PowerBall jackpot starts at fifteen million dollars ($15 million) and goes up every time there is no jackpot winner. There are now twenty-seven (27) other state lotteries as well as The District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands participating in this multi-state game.
PowerBall drawings are conducted at 9:59 p.m. Central Time (10:59 p.m. Eastern Time) every Wednesday and Saturday.
ALL cash prizes must be claimed within one hundred and eighty (180) days of the date of the drawing.

Colorado Scratch Games
Another exciting way to win cash prizes in Colorado are the Colorado Lottery’s Scratch games. There are one dollar ($1), two dollar ($2), three dollar ($3), five dollar ($5) and ten dollar ($10) Scratch lotto games and the opportunity to win anywhere between one dollar ($1) and one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000).
Winning Scratch tickets up to one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) may be redeemed at any Colorado Lottery Retailer. Winning lotto tickets up to five hundred and ninety-nine dollars ($599) may be redeemed at some retailers and ALL winning Scratch tickets of six hundred dollars ($600) or more may only be redeemed at a Colorado Lottery Claim Center.
All winning Scratch tickets MUST be redeemed within one hundred and eighty (180) days of the end of the game date.
