09/17/2009The location was very quiet. the address is listed as being on harvey road. gps locates it on harvey street, and i believe the actual street sign reads harvey street.

I was unaware such a quality hotel existed in the Muskegon area with an affordable price. When we searched for rooms in the area, the prices were too much for our traveling budget, but the Amerihost meet our desired budget. But what surprised us more, is how they more than met our expectations in almost every area. They were clean, friendly, seemed willing to help with directions, and was located near the mall (wife and kid), golf course (me), and numerous resteraunts. I could not have selected a more perfect place to stay.

We stayed at this hotel twice both for family obligations. The room was perfect for our needs. The location was great, room had microwave and refrigerator, bed was comfortable and room was clean. The continental breakfast had a wafflemaker, bagels, cereal, etc. We will return. We did not use the pool which is right off the lobby.

No, it wasn't horrible, but one night was enough. Location is okay and it is safe. Price was fair. But it just feels like everything could use a really good cleaning. Especially the SMALL pool. I was the only one of the five of us that didn't go in and everyone else got pink eye. Coincidence? I think not. Free breakfast was just okay.

Overall the hotel was okay but the beds were old, uncomfortable, and the sheets would NOT stay on the corners of the mattresses! I kept waking up during the night and putting them back on, but when we woke up in the morning the kids were sleeping on the bare mattress! The pool was nice but it?s about half the size of what it looks like in the picture. As I said, the hotel was okay but it is not worth the rate ? if they charged about half as much I might return. They definitely need to do something about the sheets though!! Waking up on a bare mattress that hundreds of other people have slept on gives me the creeps!!
