OUR GROUP WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN
02/05/2008This was the most horrible hotel we had ever stayed at. the staff was not helpful and very unorganized. they had no clue about anything. the rooms smelled so bad ...
THIS WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE HOTEL WE HAD EVER STAYED AT. THE STAFF WAS NOT HELPFUL AND VERY UNORGANIZED. THEY HAD NO CLUE ABOUT ANYTHING. THE ROOMS SMELLED SO BAD A FEW OF OUR PEOPLE GOT REALLY SICK. THE WALLS AND CARPET WERE DIRTY. THE SMOKE DETECTOR IN OUR ROOM WAS HANGING BY A WIRE. THE TOLIETS LOOKED LIKE THEY HAVEN'T BEEN CLEANED IN A FEW WEEKS. THE HALLWAY WAS DIRTY. THE POOL AREA WAS OKAY, EXCEPT THE SCUMMY GUYS WHO LIVE THERE WERE WATCHING THE UNDER AGE GIRLS IN THE POOL. THERE WAS ALSO A FEW COPS THERE TAKING RESIDENCE OUT OF THE HOTEL. THERE WAS NO FREE BREAKFAST AND THE FOOD SUCKED. I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN AND NEITHER WOULD ANY OF THE SCHOOLS OR OTHER GROUPS. YOU HAVE JUST LOST A LOT OF MONEY. "SELL OR TEAR DOWN THE BUILDING" YOUR HOTEL SUCKS!!!

Looked so much better
12/05/2007Booked non-smoking room but ended up with room that smelled like the annual convention 500 of nicotine addicts and cigar smokers convention had only just vacated it!

Complained but told no non-smoking rooms available, so given "free" vouchers for discount breakfast in adjoining restaurant.
Next morning we decided to use the $5 dollar off vouchers to enjoy, no that's not the right word, let's say digest the dry, well exposed produce on offer. Then shocked to find the bill still came to more than $30 after the vouchers had been deducted - easily the worst value meal we have ever had in the six trips we have made to the USA. Next day found out our daughter should've been eaten free but told they could not recompense us due to lack of evidence.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. On second thoughts if you have the choice take a bout of botchelism first. Easily the worst hotel we have booked in America. -

We paid $* for this hotel and find it to be really gross. I'm actually not that picky when it comes to hotels (if it has a clean bed and a clean bathroom, I'm fine) but this place didn't even meet my low expectations. The place does not feel safe at all and you have to use a regular key to gain access from outside to the hallway and then use an electronic room key to get into your room. I had to go back to the front desk twice to have my room keys reprogrammed b/c they wouldn't work. On the morning that we checked out, the power went out for the entire hotel. (And, no, there weren't any storms or any obvious reason why the power should have gone out.) We couldn't shower or anything before leaving b/c the bathroom was pitch black. The front desk was very unapologetic and offered nothing for the inconvenience. I will never stay here again and do not recommend this hotel at all.

A dive. The lobby furniture was torn and shabby, the halls smelled of urine and the rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. The indoor rec area was lit with outdoor sodium vapor lights that made everything yellow & ugly. Website info was inaccurate and the staff response was poor. America's Worst Value Inn.
