  We chose this motel based on the low price and some of the reviews. Were we surprised. The location was great. You could walk to shops, resteraunts, and gallaries. The rooms were large, clean, well furnished and the beds were great. The staff was very helpfule and informative. When we decide to vacation in this area again, this will be our base.

  We stayed one night and really enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of this lodge. Very comfortable beds and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Older place, but quite nice. A storm knocked out power for a few hours, and staff came with flashlights and extra blankets. Almost like home!

  We have six people in our family, so the two room suite (3 queen beds) was just what we needed, and very reasonably priced. There was no air conditioner in one of the rooms, but we let the main air blow which seemed to keep the overall temperature acceptable. The outdoor (unheated) pool was comfortable in the middle of July. The front desk gave two recommendations for dinner, the one we chose was in easy walking distance with good family fare. We would certainly return if in the area again.

  I tried to book at a chain, but all rooms were taken. Based on reviews, I decided to take a chance. Very pleased with the hotel, not a lot of frills but we weren't planning to spend much time in our room anyway. Hotel was clean, staff was exceptional and a big perk was free internet access in the lobby. Definately recommend!

  The air conditioning in the rooms is entirely inadequate, at least in the two room ""suite"" that we had. the staff is brisk, to say the least.
