  My husband surprised me and booked us here. I was impressed. You feel like royalty. It is furnished with beautiful antiques, museum like. It's at a wonderful location on the grande canal, away for the crowds but steps away from everything, St. Mark's, restaurants, shops and vaporetto. I can see why royalty, presidents and celebrity have chosen this hotel. The service is impeccable. It is considered the best hotel in Venice. It is not a brand new hotel, it is circa 1500's.
