Went with the kids to meet their grand parents. Rooms are nice and clean and updated. The bathroom was also updated. Looked like they were working on updateing the other rooms. Kids had a blast at the pool. Staff was very helpful and accomodating. This place is great for the price. Why pay $* had chain hotels when you can get a nice clean place at half the price.

We stayed one night at this motel and that was all we could take. The king size bed was as hard as a rock. I have slept on softer beds in the military. The shower stall was very old tile and did not look very clean. What do you expect for the cost? To make it worse, the upper floor occupants sounded like their kids were running and jumping off of the beds till midnite. We left exhausted. (Not really a motel problem, it is always a risk you take in any motel). The motel is off the motel strip downtown Redding. It really was not the prettiest of locations, but not the worst, either.

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. We arrived late and tired from a long drive and when we climbed into bed the sheets had obviously not been changed because there was hair and make up on the pillow cases. We did not bother to pull down the sheets and look at the rest! Seriously nasty! We decided to sleep in our sleeping bags. The bathroom was also very dirty and had not been cleaned. Do not stay here. Pay a few more dollars and go somewhere else!

The reason to go to Redding was the things to do around it. We arrived at the hotel around 11am. Despite being early the manger accomodated us. The manager was very courtious and provided us information about the surroundings. He also printed out maps for us and called guided tours for timings. The rooms were very clean. The fridge and microwave were very handy. There was in room coffee. Although they did not provide breakfast, donuts and coffee was right around the corner. The restaurant on sight was also pretty good. In short, great value for the price. I definetly would recommend this place to budget contiuos travellers.
