  I didnt expect much for the price but my room's heater never warmed up- and unlike the average hotel there were no blankets on the bed (just the thin comforter) I spent the night shivering and left as soon as possible. By the way dont be fooled by the "free breakfast" there are a dozen stale doughnuts and a sign that says please take only one.

  I went to the office to ask a question Sun morning early. The FRONTDESK clerk was handing ALL GUEST cards to the POLICE. I have never seen anything like that in my life. Is this a Communist State? Is that even legal? The cop walked in and said "let me see the cards." This is a regular practice there. I was in town to visit family, not have my records searched by the Kansas City Police Dept.

  Don't expect anything for breakfast if you stay here. The continental breakfast was a tupperware container that was empty. The service was bad and the workers were horribly unfriendly. It is in a bad part of town. The cable tv consisted of about three stations. The bathroom was grimy and the room smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. I wouldn't stay here again. Especially with the cigarette burn holes in the sheets and blanket on the bed.

  The location was terrible not a safe feeling in this area. The cleanliness was horrific. I will never stay there. We checked in Friday night and got out of there early Saturday morning. If that is Amerca's Best we are really hurting. They need to change the name of this place. Stay away from this place no matter how cheap the rates are.

  The Staff is very unfriendly,unconcern about stay and just plain dry.They promise me fridge,coffee maker,wireless net,ironing board,iron,newspaper and microwave.Needless to say I didn't recieve none of that.When I complain to staff they said it wasn't fault.I made reservation 3months in advance.I call them to make sure the room was none smoking.
