THIS IS A MUST RETURN TO. STAFF IS AMAZING AND ROOMS ARE IMMACULATE. BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE..PICNIC AREA OVERLOOKING BEACH. FABULOUS!!!!! It is right on a wonderful part of the beach. We walked to the main boardwalk. The pool was a perfect temperature and incredibly clean. It was clean everywhere, the pool furniture was spotless. I was thrilled to find a beautiful spot that is so reasonably priced. The only thing that I found was that the way the room doors lock, there is no way to extra secure it from the inside. In other words, my two year old was able to walk up to the door and open it..AFTER I ""locked"" it. So, just be aware if you have children. There is no way to lock the door so it cant be freely opened from the inside..example, there is no chain.

My husband and myself stayed there for an anniversary. It was the worse place we have ever stayed. The sockets were coming out of the wall. The air conditioning was not big enough to cool down the room, you had to have it on high and all it did was keep you cool as long as you stayed on the bed. My bedroom is bigger than the room itself. We found many roaches all over the bathroom and even had them climbing on the bed. I know we only paid $* but give me a break it could be cleaned and kept up with. The people that ran the place were very friendly. The either need to spend alot of money fixing this place up or they should tear it down. I wouldn't even have my worse enemy stay there.

If you are on a tight budget, then this is a inexpensive way to go to Daytona Beach. The housekeepers and other workers are extremely nice, and willing to help any way that they can to make your stay comfortable. However, there are renovations that are in progress, so if you are seeking a restful vacation, you won't rest after 8:00 a.m. Some of the rooms are small, and all of their room s are for smokers. The initial room that my husband and I received had a hole in the wall, large enough to resemble some one's head shape. After electrical outlet issues, and the roof leaking, we were moved to a better room. This room was nice and spacious, with a nice view of Atlantic Avenue. The new accommodations was very nice and it made the stay worth while, or at least worth the money.

All I can say is, please check your room before giving them a penny. They are no cheaper than anyone else but this is a very bad value for the money. The electrical wiring in some rooms is very unsafe. The receptacles are falling out of the wall. Dirt is everywhere. Our car was towed when they gave us a parking permit and told us to park across the street. Thurs out that the lot owner had no agreement with Red Carpet Inn and it cost us $100 to get our car out of the tow yard. We can ruff it with the best but this place is just filthy. We checked with other motels and we will consider any other one but this one.
