We stayed at this hotel last weekend. It was a week before Christmas so all the hotels were expensive. We paid $* a night which was cheap compared to all the other hotels at the time. The room was very small, but clean. That's the only thing good I can say about this hotel. Like I said it was middle of December and we walk in our room with no heat! We told the hotel staff who promised they would fix it. We came back and hour later and the heat was fixed, however when we came back to our hotel for the night the heat was broken again. We didn't bother reporting it to the staff again, we just went all weekend without heat. Also, the toilet made the most obnoxious noises all night long even when it wasn't being used. Also the plumbing in the room next to us was broken and everytime our neighbors flushed their toilet our entire room wall shook so much and so loud it sounded like an earthquake for about 10 minutes straight. We also woke up Saturday morning and tried to take a shower, but there was no hot water! Would never stay there again!!

The hotel is in a great location because it is so close to everything. We got checked in right away and our room was very nice. The staff were very friendly and willing to help us with anything we needed. They even looked up where a certain store was for us. We will definitely stay here again because it is very close to all of the Broadway plays.

I read the reveiws prior to my visit in September 9, 2008. I found the front desk staff to be extremly friendly and helpful. The rooms were as described, small, but very clean and a good value for the location.

When we booked this hotel, we knew the rooms were small -- that was everyone's comment. It could have been just a teensy bigger to accommodate a comfortable chair, but other than that, it was nicely laid out, plenty of storage, comfortable bed and pillows. And the locattion was EXCELLENT... right near Broadway, tons of restaurants and store, (all within walking distance), 9 short blocks to Central Park, right near the subway, it couldn't have been better. A/C didn't work as well as we would have liked. Bathroom was excellent, elevator slow and seemed to always be full of employees. We would stay here again.
