This is a very friendly hotel beginning with the front desk on arrival (English spoken with clarity). They were always helpful, especially in showing us to find places in the city by using the Metro. Two months before we arrived they got us 4 reservations to see the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci. (They have to be gotten 2 to 3 months in advance.)The room and bathroom with all modern facilities were spotless. The food was interesting and very good. On the weekend we had dinner in a cozy place next to the bar. On week days we dined on the top floor in a spacious dining room. Service was prompt and food came hot and nicely presented. The same room provided breakfast. It was a feast. This is one of the best small hotels I have stayed in. Milan has plenty to see.

The staff was friendly and spoke English (even accompanying us to the ATM next door to assist us in getting our euro's). They assisted us in all matters: planning day trips, parking and advice. The room was spotless and the linens on the beds were devine. Would stay there again without hesitation. Parking of our rental car was a little tricky. Only ten parking stalls but the staff met our needs in a parking terrace on some days two blocks away. The buffet breakfast was delicious and helped to start our day. Employees in the restaurants were gracious and helpful. Thank you Antares Hotel Rubens.
