First Time For Everything...Toilet in the Hallway

I had two rooms booked starting on July 2 for 6 nights, prepaid. When we arrived at the hotel at check-in time the rooms weren't ready yet. Assuming the rooms weren't clean yet we waited from 3 until about 5:30PM. They finally had one room after a couple of hours. The room was literally finishing being remodeled. We punch list things that weren't even done right. The other room for my children was on a different floor where there was only one room not under construction. We explained that this was dangerous and unacceptable. We finally got the room situation resolved where the children were located on a finished floor while my wife and I were on a floor with unfinished rooms. There was even an old toilet in our hallway. I figured they would remove it soon. But the workers quit for the holiday weekend on Friday night and the toilet remained in the hallway until the middle of the next week. During the week we had workers in and out of our room checking various different problems plus we had construction noise starting about 8AM every morning. Our door literally fell of the hinges. The hotel manager was very understanding and things were generally resolved quickly but it was one of the strangest hotel experiences I have ever had.

We had such a great experience at this hotel. We stayed here 3 nights and everything was just perfect. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The view is amazing! The rooms are small but the view makes up for that. The wall opens up floor to ceiling so you can step outside and enjoy the scenery. We had a ocean view room which means we can see the ocean of we look off to the left. But the view of the city was great! The hotel was very clean and close enough to walk to most everything you could want to do in Waikiki. It was quiet and comfortable too.

We have stayed in this building 2x's and would come back in a heartbeat. The location is great and close to the main bus loop. The staff is very helpfull. Pool was great. Would go through the main rental, not private next time as room not cleaned as much as last time. When we stayed last time room cleaning happened every day and they even gave you dish soap. Private rental didn't.

This is not a hotel of the normal sense, but a condo. The rooms are not very large and are a bit on the older side, but overall they are not too bad. Depending on the price level, you'll either get a city view or an ocean view. The hotel is 2 blocks north of Waikiki Beach and near lots of restaurants and shops. It is somewhat difficult to find - be sure to Mapquest it or use a GPS device. The parking garage is small, narrow and not a lot of parking. It costs $ a night and uses a machine to take your money (didn't work very well when I was there). The pool is on the top level (requires one flight of stairs - the elevator doesn't go to the top) and is pretty nice. You'll get a nice view of Honolulu from there. But if you want Honolulu on a budget, you'll get a nice room for not a lot of money.

Our family stayed at this hotel for a week in April. View from the room had a good view of the ocean and beach. Great location. Centrally located and next to shops, restaurants and stores. Very short walking distance to the beach. Hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly. Would definitely stay again.
