The hotel is a bit on the shabby side. It is large and the area we stayed in felt almost deserted. The room, however, was very comfortable and quiet. We rested well there. The Metro is just a short walk across the street and it takes you right down to the historic area in about 10 minutes or less. The best part about this hotel is its location right across the street from the Schonbrunn palace, gardens and zoo. We spent a late afternoon at the zoo and then wandered around the gardens all evening and ended up stumbling on a formal recorded full concert attire dress rehearsal of the Vienna Philharonic in between the palace and the Gloriette. Magical!!!

The hotel is a bit on the shabby side. It is large and the area we stayed in felt almost deserted. The room, however, was very comfortable and quiet. We rested well there.
