Consumers: Read the fine print very carefully. There are certain times during the year when they change the cancellation period from 48 hours to 7 days. This is their policy plain and simple! They make no apologies for it. We had to cancel 6 days in advance of our stay and they took our * deposits for the 2 rooms we courteously called to release!!!It may be legal for them to do, but not very nice. BE SURE TO CHECK about this when you book your room. It was very disappointing. Check other reviews before staying here!!! We got burned. Hopefully, you will not...

This charming Inn had a great look and feel as we drove in. It is the only hotel in the town that isn't right on the Main Street - which is actually the Highway 101. So that was what attracted us - that it was set off the Hwy and quiet. The property is very well mantained and you can tell from all the plants, sitting areas, etc that someone cares and works hard to keep it nice and unique. The room was very clean, spacious and furniture, bedding, mattress all new. Hot breakfast in the morning -- hot freshly made oatmeal with toppings and a really good egg dish. Again, you could tell it was healthy and better than your "chain" hotel breakfast. Staff was great and we would highly recommend!

Stayed September 2008. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, even printed my boarding pass for trip home. The complimentary breakfast rated top notch, with good selection of fresh food, drinks and hot coffee. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Am planning on returning this year and would not hesitate to stay again.

Just looking for a little peace and quiet off the main highway. I found it at the Baechtel Creek Inn. This is Willits CA, most hotels/motels host people that are just passing through and it shows. This hotel is a worthwhile stop on your journey. Even if you have to drive a little further to reach this spot it's worth it. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is courteous and it's set back in a quiet location. This hotel is also kid and pet friendly. It serves a modest but adequate continental breakfast. For the price you pay the spa is a real treat, don't expect the Mandarin but then again you are not paying Mandarin prices. A deep tissue massage, or some relaxing aroma therapy is just what you need to get you ready to continue your road trip, start your day off just right or end the day in total relaxation. My travels often take me to California and when I'm traveling Highway 101 I look forward to this stop.
