As soon as we got there they upgrades us to a partail oceanview room, check in was easy and the hotel was in a great location to do tourist kinds of things. We were very close to the Bubba Gump restaurant and they had excellent food. The restaurant in the hotel gave horrible service, but that is really the only bad experience we had in all of Ft Lauderdale. The pool bar was fantastic, and so was everywhere else. We would definately stay again!

THIS HOTELwas located perfectly. Short distance from airport.Walking distance to A1A bars and eateries. SHort cab ride to LOS OLAS restaurants. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Great view of marina!!.THEY EVEN GAVE US A * DOLLAR CREDIT AND WE DRANK FOR FREE AT POOL ONE DAY!!!!---- Only knock.....exterior of hotel could use a paint job!!!..def staying again.

Besides the run down condition of the "resort" the customer service was awful. I left my phone on the table in the lobby while I used the restroom. It was gone when I got back. Another guest said she saw a hotel employee pick it up. We tried to call the phone no luck. I checked with the desk. They did not have it. Security got involved, but said they could do nothing even though they found the employee that said he gave the phone to the bell captain. No one seemed concerned. You certainly don't expect this to happen when you spend $* for one night. Would never go back to this hotel.

I was so hopeful when I booked this room online. What a disappointment! Rug shampooer was still in the room when we arrived. If a parking lot is considered a courtyard, then we had a courtyard view. Shower curtain merely transferred the water from the tub to the bathroom floor so the floor was flooded. The electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work. Parking is expensive and inconvenient. Outside hallway entrances were not locked. Check-in staff was very friendly, check-out staff was not. It was just not user friendly.
