The room was clean. The beds comfortable. The only downside was the noisy air conditioner. Maybe other rooms have quiter air conditioners. Check-in was super easy. The hotel is in walking distance of restaurants.

Filthy and disgusting

My family had reservations at this hotel for July 22, 2010. We we arrived to our two rooms, we found that both rooms were filthy. One room had dirty carpets with bits of food, grass, and even a dead cockroach ground into it. The other room had blood stained sheets and sheets on the other bed that looked as though they had been slept in. We we approached the desk manager, we were told that the college students who normally do the housekeeping were off for the summer. He said that the hotel had employed high school students to pick up the work over the summer months. Obviously, they were doing a very poor job. I have spoken with others who have stayed in Baymonts across the state of Missouri, and they all had negative things to say. I will never stay at a Baymont. Do not make a reservation here.

Pleasant Stay At Baymont
12/31/2009Very clean room for a short stay (12/09). room & bathroom recently remodeled. mini refrig, cable, etc. snow shoveled off walkway. nice continental-style breakfast.

Loved this place!! Was VERY shocked for the price we paid, low price over the top service..by far the best service we have had at a hotel in years!! Awesome rooms slept like a baby the whole three days we stayed there. Management was top notch and she cared about her guests, she appeared to know most of the guests like friends at breakfast talked to each table. The breakfast attendant (a young man) was very caring and polite helped us out each morning we were down there. I really felt like home here...would definately go back and I have told everyone I know to stay at the Baymont Inn & Suites in Hays, Kansas!!
