08/01/2010Baymont did not work for me. the rooms were smelly and damp. the commodes in each room were broken. i had to call the maintenance worker twice to repair them. ...
Baymont did not work for me. The rooms were smelly and damp. The commodes in each room were broken. I had to call the maintenance worker twice to repair them. The closets were smelly. I bought cleaning supplies and air freshner to clean the rooms. I used Lysol disinfectant on the beds to kill whatever. The shower area was too small and I am not a big person. I killed a roach in one room. The telephone did not work properly. The television kept flipping out (going from color to black and white and back to color). I reported all my complaints to the Front Desk, but little was done.

Not worth the money, you could stay at another hotel for the price you can stay at this dump.Not picky either on motels, but this one was BAD!! The bathtub had hair in it from previous people(Had to clean it out ourselves) and mold smell with mold in tub you can see(Which was real nasty!),Wifi didn't work in room, No coffee with coffee maker(1st morning),No extra toilet paper 2nd night so ran out this morning/ran out of tissue paper too,no liner in the trash cans first night or ice holder,Swimming pool looked green,Couple of Motel Staff members were not too nice. The motel staff charged my mom * extra dollars,even though she was an AARP member and you get a cheaper rate and had the card charged us normal rate even when she asked them right before if they needed the card, then they gave me a hard time when I went in and wanted the differance(was almost * dollars back refunded, took them forever for them to find the paper work on internet rate,didn't even get "We are sorry about that") The parking lot was ghetto and trash was over flowing,They gave us plenty of soap and shampoo,Security in parking lot even though securtiy couldn't of done much because of age or built),Dennys is right next door.Won't stay at this place again,would rather sleep in my car no joke!Best thing to do is just stay away!

I went on a group trip and I was pleased with the hotel stay. Of course it's not the Omni and I didn't expect it to be. We're just going there to sleep so no need for all the fancy stuff! The gentlemen at the front desk were VERY nice and helpful. The pool was closed at the time due to a broken ladder which was kind of a bummer, but I wouldn't condemn the place for that. It really is in a great location if you want to see various parts of San Antonio; not too far from the big attractions. In terms of comfort it was good. We all thought the beds were pretty nice. The only downside I would say would be the cable TV selection, but again, if you're just going there to sleep, that's really not that bad of an issue. Overall it was a great place for a trip on a budget!

I have stayed at this hotel 1 week this summer and 2 weeks at Christmas. It is very clean, the staff are super friendly, and the breakfast has a variety of items. Very convenient to Six Flags and shopping. The only disadvantage is it is near I-10 so there is some traffic noise.
