We arrived in the late afternoon after traveling in the rain by motorcycle. Check in was very quick, as the desk clerk could see we were still wet. We were told we could park our bike under an overhang close to the building so the bike wouldnt stay wet all night. The room had a new wall air conditioner that was very quiet. The room was very clean and well maintained. The continental breakfast was the nicest we had on our trip. Very fresh bakery, delicious fresh fruit and fruit juices. Very friendly staff everywhere. An excellent bargain for such a nice experience.

Upon arrival, the desk clerk was somewhere smoking. The walls in the rooms are paper thin. Some rooms ( such as ours ) was well worn and old. Chipped bathroom fixtures. The chairs in our room were broken. The bed linen had a huge flourescent pink stain. When we left for the day the next morning, we didn't leave our " do not disturb " sign hanging on the outside of the door. Upon our return several hours later, we came back to a room that was still dirty. It was apparent that housekeeping hadn't serviced the room like it should have been. The free breakfast is best left alone... spend your money at McDonald's for a fresher, better meal. I feel that if you are considering this property... think about it. Your money will go further and get you a better room at a better property.

11/18/2009Positive: it was the cheapest hotel. negative: next to a hustler hollywood, bad part of town, parking lot smelled like sewer, receptionist outside smoking, this hotel allows smoking in rooms ...
Positive: It was the cheapest hotel. Negative: Next to a Hustler Hollywood, bad part of town, parking lot smelled like sewer, receptionist outside smoking, this hotel allows smoking in rooms still and you can tell, our room smelled like a filthy gym lockerroom, the FLOOR WAS WET!, the shower leaked, the toilet ran, it was loud and next to the freeway, it was even louder because of the thin walls and loud people next door up all night, it stank, I felt dirty touching anything because of the smell and it just wasn't clean. Who knows why the floor was wet?
