Rooms were nice, but staff is awful. No smile, No hellos, No customer service. I reserved 3 rooms for 2 days through online travel website on 11/9 with a check in date of 11/29. Called hotel directly to request rooms side by side since I was meeting my sister from LA and traveling with my 85 year old father. Woman said ""no problem"". Upon arrival we found out there was a room between my father and I and my sister was upstairs. I spoke with the man at the front desk and he could not have cared less. He kept saying that I booked the room through online travel website and there was nothing he could do. We went on with our weekend. When we checked out they were not able to give me a receipt for the rooms. At first they gave me a receipt with an address and partial cc number of somebody in TX. I pointed out that was not me and was told it was just a token receipt. I booked and paid for the rooms online so it didn't matter. But it did matter so I waited and waited for another set of receipts with my family waiting in the car with the engine running. I finally got my papers and headed out only to out it was my father's name at the top with my address and that poor guy in TX's partial credit card and room information. UGH! We travel a few times a year and have never encountered such rude hotel staff. I hope they get some training.

This hotel was even more than I expected!! The beds and the sheets were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The location was perfect. It is right off the interstate but you don't hear the noise of the trucks at night. The bathroom was very roomy and clean. The shower head was high enough for my 6' 3"" husband which doesn't happen very offen in hotels. The only things that I was not totally happy about was the breakfast. It was truely a simple breakfast. I found something for everyone in my family to eat but it was hard for my picky 7 year old. The only thing I wish I could have changed would be to change the position of the TV. It was a big flat screen and I wish I could have moved the set so my children could sleep without watching it but we still could watch.

My family and I were in town for just one night and wanted a reasonably priced hotel to stay at. The hotel has only been open for 2 months. I'd have to say that this hotel was nicer than some 4 star hotels I've stayed at in the past. The rooms were VERY nice w/ two comfortable queen beds, white down comforters, an LG flat screen TV, microwave, fridge and nice furnishings. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the Huntsville/Madison area.
