Beaver Run was a great location for skiing any of the nearby mountains, we skiied Vail, A-basin, Copper, Keystone and of course Breckenride. The furthest away being Vail at about 40 minute drive. Breckenridge has a lift iright outside the door, along with rentals. Everyone at the rental shop was very nice! Indoor parking was convienent. We stayed in building 3 which was a great location for the pool/hot tub area and the view outside the window was magnificent. The shuttle to and from town was wonderful. The drawback to staying at Beaver Run were, our maid service was not uip to what we expected for the cost I think they were short staffed, our room in building 3 was slightly run down, in room wi-fi costs money (wi-fi in lobby was free), I would have liked a place a little closer to town, having to wait for shuttle was cold and the elevators throughout were slow and also need updated.

Studio for 4 is really best for one couple, because the bathroom space is limited. But the room was fine, the bed was OK, the jetted tub was really meant for one person at a time. The restaurants and bars were just fine too. BEWARE of the on-site market in the hotel - I paid * DOLLARS for a 1.5 ounce of Visine. The hotel and the city have free shuttles to town. At the hotel you just dial "0" and the driver shows up and takes you where you want to go. Get the ski lift ticket to ski Vail, Breckenridge and Keystone. Buy it on-line to save a little or pay at the slopes. Less than $* bucks for 3 days, and they're within 30 minutes, easy drive or bus to each.

Where else can you actually go from your hotel and ski down to the ski lift? Outstanding. Room was awesome (Stayed in Delux Studio) because it offered more than hotel room but didn't pay the extra $* per night for just a fireplace that you get with Colorado Suite. Bars, restaurants are great. Even has a mini shop onsite that offers a lot of choices. Games for kids, pool, and about 4 hot tubs. Decorations were a bit old but who cares with so much to offer onsite and best location in town. Great views! Short walk or shuttle over to the heart of downtown. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.
