Ruff scratchy blanket!!!!!!

We stayed July if 2010 the room was ok not very well lighted. The blankets felt so ruff that I went and bought one to use while we where there. The pool was merky and no lights at the pool but open til 11. The ice machine was in a dark area under the stairs and there where chicken bones on the dirty walk way. Cleaning of the rooms was done in such a hurried manner. We will not stay there again!!!!!

We stayed in Sept 2009. Hotel has been newly renovated, matresses were top quality as well as the new bedding. The room looked like an expensive hotel yet we got the "walk in" special rate of around 40 per night. Every room had 2 chairs just outside the door and was nice and relaxing to sit and read. The pool is small but nice. Just 2 blocks to the parkway was an easy walk - all downhill going, all uphill coming back so be prepared! We are looking forward to staying again in Nov 2009.

10/16/2007Stinky "non-smoking" run-down room, filthy carpet, stained bed sheets. asked for bed sheets to be replaced, no staff available, had to do it ourselves. terrible.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME IN GATLINBURG TN. OUR HOTEL WAS NICE AND CLEAN. IT WAS ALSO CLOSE ENOUGH TO MAIN STREET GATLINBURG THAT WE DIDN'T HAVE TO DRIVE ANYWHERE.

a mom and pop operation in downtown gatlinburg, circa 1960 drive-up motor lodge...very clean and comfortable, friendly staff, well-maintained, convenient. Pool for the kids but no other frills. No balcony views of the smokies but makes a good home base to come back to after a day in the Park. I'll stay there next year...
