I stayed Feb 17-20th 2011. They let me check my bags in the early so I did have to lug them around in my car all day. When I check in I did not like the location of the room so they upgrade me to a "Suite on the 8th floor.(Thanks Bob!!) Great breakfast for free!! Lots iof amenities within walking distance. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and this is by far the best value for the price. The indoor pool is an added bonus especially if you have kids. I will stay again!!

Came to Hampton to scout places to live pre job transfer. Picked the hotel because it had decent reviews and was cheap. Was not disappointed. Room was a typical hotel room...nothing fancy. Wireless internet was a little slow, but FREE. Refrigerator and Microwave in the room was a life saver. Room was clean and surprisingly well furnished. Staff was friendly. Overall, it was a good choice and I would recommend to anyone simply looking for a place to sleep, shower, and store your gear. Lots of stuff to do around it too. Only about 35mins to VA Beach!...made for a nice inexpensive day trip.

My stay at the Best Western was pleasant. The front desk staff was friendly. They changed my reservation once I got there to a King bed, non-smoking. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. There was a little fridge in there, a microwave and a coffee maker. The only complaint I had is that the water dripped at night in the bathtub. The day that I checked out though, once I got in my car, I realized my car had been broken into and my GPS had been stolen. So all I can say is you live and you learn, so if you are traveling there from out of state put your GPS in the trunk or glove compartment. Hampton seems to have a lot of thieves .
