  Very disappointed in the lack of customer service and noisy premises, including other patrons running up and down outside balcony on second floor until 2 am. Very limited parking. Hotel staff cannot be bothered to bring extra towels to your room if you call. If you want anything you have to go to the office to get it yourself. Supposed to be a non-smoking property, yet saw housekeeping staff and other staff smoking right outside of rooms, as well as customers smoking right in front of our room door.

  A great location in the heart of John Day. We spent three nights at this location while attending the Chief Joseph BMW Rally. We enjoyed the town and local area. The front desk was very accommadating. We needed to extend our stay an extra day due to rain and were given a upgrade room at our bid price. The rooms are clean and well stocked. We look forward to staying here for next year's Rally.

  The room was large and comfortable. It was quiet and clean. I enjoyed having a refridgerator and a microwave. The hi speed internet was a great bonus. The staff was helpful. The continental breakfast was the only part of my stay that was not satisfactory. The food was somewhat cheap. There was shrinkwrapped pastries and canned peaches for fruit. I much prefer yogurt for breakfast. The donuts were stale the first and second day and there was no cream cheese for the bagels. However the waffles were good.
