Upon our arrival we were told at 8:50 that the pool was closed, [we chose this hotel for the indoor pool] and that it would not open untill 9 the next morning. If you are a traveler sometimes it is impossible to arrive early. Check in is at 3 checkout is 11 that in is not much time for swimming. Our children were so dissapointed. Then we used the couch that made out to a bed it was almost impossible to sleep on very cheaply made. Staircase was very dirty, and dust ruffles were falling off the beds. It was like they were trying to make fancy out of sloppy. Not impressed with our stay. Travelers should feel like guest not intruders. Pools should be open when you pay for a room you pay for privilages to use the pool.

We typically stay in the Marriot line of hotels, but out of necessity we stayed at this Best Western. WONDERFUL stay! The hotel seems to either be brand new or completely renovated, but it was clean and extremely comfortable. Beds were outstanding...appointments felt like those found in a much pricier hotel. The staff was incredibly warm and gracious, and made us all feel at home. Although the area did not have much to recommend, the hotel was worth the distance into downtown Mobile!
