My family and I stayed overnight November 15, 2010 at this hotel while we visited Christmas at the Biltmore and it was very clean and quite. It looks as if the entire hotel has been remodeled and it was at a great price. It was only minutes from the Ashville mall and the Biltmore Estate. I would stay here again for sure.

The location of the hotel was convenient to both downtown Asheville and the Biltmore area. The only issue during our stay was the extreme traffic noise the first night. We had room 200, which is on the end of the building closest to Tunnel Rd. It turns out the walls are paper thin, and the loud traffic (trucks, sirens, motorcycles) wasn't drowned out even with the a/c running full blast. The second night, we asked to switch rooms and were accommodated, even though the hotel was sold out.

Nice clean room. About as you would expect for the price. Breakfast normal fair. BE CAREFUL PULLING OUT OF THE DRIVE! You can't see very far to your left as you pull out onto Tunnel Dr. and the locals fly thru there! Staff helpfull, provided local map and advice. Check out My tips

01/30/2008Room was clean, front desk was courteous, ample parking and the location was great, central to all asheville attractions. asheville itself is kinda boring tho.

I stayed for 9 nights, and loved it. The rooms were a great size with refrigerator and microwave, which was helpful for such a long stay. Free internet connectionwas appreciated, and breakfast was great - we ate fresh waffles every morning! I tend to be nervous about staying in hotels because of cleanliness, but this place was very clean, and housekeeping did a phenomenol job. The staff were friendly and accomodating. I will definitely stay again, and recommend to others.
