NOT WORTH THE MONEY
10/12/2011The staff were super friendly, but this hotel is extremely overpriced for what you get. just an average room, nothing special.

Went to Lynchburg, Va for 2 days checked into Super 8 around 8pm the girl that checked me in was very rude. She never smiled and never told me anything about the Motel and never told me or my wife where our room was just handed us our key without even a Thank you. Our room was nice and big and our bed was very good and we slept very well and had a very good breakfast. Although we were in town for 2 nights and had planned on staying @ the Super 8 both nights we didn't we checked out the next day around 11am and went to another motel. We did this because the girl @ the front desk when we checked in was very rude. Super 8 tell your employees to be a little nicer and @ least say Thank you.

The front desk service was friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean but old, the linen was raggedy, Service was good for what they had to work with. Even with that I would stay there again. I was only there for two night but I felt safe there, and for that I could over look the minor infractions.

This hotel was horrible. My first room had no refrigerator, no microwave and was beyond the range of the wireless internet. My second room had all that, but was next to a stairwell and, with the paper thin walls and floors, was constantly rocked by noise. The next week, my room was again without a microwave, the refrigerator was present, made occassional strange noises, and didn't actually cool anything. In that room, the remote didn't work and two of the four lamps did not work. I had two calls and a visit from the front desk telling me that I needed to quiet down, even though I was actually in bed each of those times with the tv off. Evidently the guests in the room underneath me couldn't localize the noise from the stairwell and assumed it was coming from my room. The staff was... interesting. This hotel is headed for closure if it doesn't right its course soon. Sp[end a few more bucks per night and stay somewhere else.
