  Best Western charge my credit card as did online travel website , the ck-in person said she'd never heard of online travel website and didn't know where or how my reservation appeared. Hopefully, I shall have a refund from Best Western in a few weeks thanks to a great guy and service rep, X, who discussed my issues over 50 minutes with the BW manager in this obscure village, while I waited on 'hold'.
  When I opened the door to the room initially, there sat the "maintenance engineer" on 'my' bed watching TV, while the repair man installed a new shower head (which, I must say, was awesome..). Upon returning to our room later the next day it was shocking to find all the lights on and the TV blaring, as we did not leave the room this way. Was our room the break room for the staff or what? The senora preparing the breakfasts was very efficient and kind as all the workers there but we are still amazed at the bold discrepancies we experienced.
  If one must overnite in this village, this is the best posiibility, at least very clean, comfortable.
