Staff was attentive and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. This is a business hotel that I would take my family to also. The breakfast was fresh, not reheated eggs like at other places. This is my new favorite hotel in NS.

After two hours in the room a faulty smoke alarm started spewing water in our room (a room with a king size bed and full jacuzzi), we were offered a much smaller room and reimbursement of our expenses. However, we were never reimbursed and gratuities offered to cover our inconvenience were never provided. The hotel staff didn't even realize that the alarm in our room was sounding, and we were forced to go up to the front desk to report the alarm and the water spraying in our room. There apparently was no manager on site, and maintenance personnel could not be located resulting in us having to haul our things out of the room before our belonging were damaged. We would not stay in this hotel again, and were very disappointed in the way we were brushed off by a young and inexperienced hotel staff and the more serious concern that they were not monitoring the alarm systems in their building, nor responding appropriately when informed of the situation.

Easily the nicest Best Western hotel we had the pleasure to use. Stayed two nights without a complaint of any kind. Comfortable and clean with a helpful staff. Located minutes from the ferry to the Halifax waterfront . Free internet terminals for anyone without a laptop. Pool and hot tub were neat and clean. The free breakfast buffet was a big surprise. A complete buffet including hot eggs, homefries and breakfast sausage plus pastry and other items. This will be the Best Western we will compare all others to.

What a great hotel. Front desk was super friendly and the rooms were awesome. Clean, spacious and well decorated. The bed was great and I loved the white linens. The restaurant was good with a good selection. Some items are pricy but we walked away with a * bill, plus tip, which is what we would have paid almost everywhere else. Everyone was smiling and seemed so happy to be there. We will be going back.

The restaurant doesn't have a liquor license yet but will soon I was told. The food was amazing. The rooms are huge compared to the other hotels in the area and the little touches like IPOD clocks is great. I used the shuttle to go back and forth to work during my stay. Best of all, the staff were amazing. They answered all my questions and even used the internet to get answers for me when they didn't know. These guys have thought of everything with one exception. There is no water saving program. They recycle but the sheets and towels could use a program like other hotels. I have mentioned to them so I hope it will be in place when I go back. I will be back and will tell everyone about it.
