Super convenient to get off the flight and be in the hotel in just a few steps. We just needed an overnight before catching our cruise the next day. Room was comfortable and quiet. Hotel even secured our bags for us after checkout so we could spend the free afternoon in San Juan before catching our cruise that evening. Hotel lobby is very tiny and gets cramped at peak checkin/out times, but everything else was great. Since you are at the airport, catching a cents * bus into town for the day, or a taxi to the ship is a snap.

The hotel was small but clean. It's not a five star hotel but the staff was excellent and friendly. I stayed one night and it was a pleasant stay. Check-in and check-out was quick and painless. It is a bit pricey for what you get but I would stay again as a layover site.

My wife and I stayed on Feb. 6 2010 for one night before our cruise. Other than the fact the hotel was only a five minute walk from baggage claim I cannot say that I would ever stay again. This was by far the smallest room we have ever stayed in, the queen bed practically filled up the whole room. Bathroom was very small looked like a half tub. The room was clean however. The breakfast was not too bad but we had a hard time finding a place to sit it was very crowded, maybe if we had gone to breakfast at 5 am when it first opened it would have been better.Taxi ride to cruise terminal was about $*. You walk outside of the hotel and you are at the taxi cab stand.I picked this hotel because our flight got in after 11pm and did not want worry about getting to a hotel farther away too much later that night, we wish we would have picked somewhere else. But it also was not bad enough to ruin our vacation.

Literally just steps from the American Airlines reservation the Best Western San Juan Airport provided convenient (no waiting for an airport shuttle), clean, comfortable accomodations. Just what we were looking for given a late night arrival in San Juan and early morning flight the next day. The free continental breakfast provided the predictable assortment of AM eats and for those with heartier appetites there was the option to order items such as pancakes and eggs for an additional cost.
