We were visiting family that lived very close by, so this hotel was 1] within walking distance to the family, 2] convenient to public transportation, 3] clean, quiet and comfortable, 4] within walking distance to several nice restaurants. 5] would be affordable for younger family members with children. 6] was within a reasonable walking distance 1.5 miles from the beach via Spanish River Blvd. We will definitely stay again. Thank You.

Hotel is located in Boca Raton, Florida. This is NOT a hotel it is a Motel. It is old and run down, has a smell through out the lobby and the rooms. Room are old and out dated. Carpet makes you want to keep your shoes on at all times. Bathrooms are small and old. Tub had rust in it. On a good note, rooms are large and the beds were comfortable. The beds are the only thing they seem to have updated. TV's were small and had a built in VCR in them (should give you an idea how old they are). For the price I paid $* per night I might consider staying again but I highly doubt it. Also looks like people might be living there full time.

This hotel seems as though it has not been updated in 20 years. The carpets were stained, the bathroom in the room was the size of a powder room could barely get in and out of tub. The TV was a VCR/TV combo unit. Th erestaurant service was horrible and the coffee served was cold. When asking for cream- "oh , they only have that available in the morning" The place itself smelled like dirty diapers

I just got back from spending 5 nights at the Boca Raton Plaza Hotel & Suites and would highly recommend it for anyone that wants a nice place to stay at a very reasonable price. My room and the facility was clean and comfortable. The wireless internet access was good, easy to use and free. The pool was very enjoyable with a poolside cabana bar to facilitate drink and food orders. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and offered great value. I would rate it a full point above what it is rated at. This is a hotel that offers a traveler great value.

We stayed here on April 19, 2009 on our way to a cruise. The hotel gave us a great discount rate for 4 people. The room was clean and comfortable. It does have older furnishing but they were in good shape. The Tiki Bar was nice as was the lounge. The staff was friendly and helpful.
