My son and I recently stayed overnight at the Royal Inn and Suites. The suite was clean, the furniture was in good shape, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very responsive when I asked for extra bedding for the fold-out bed. The continental breakfast was adequate, and I mean that in a good way--a small but sufficient variety of food and beverages to choose from. One word of caution--when driving to the Royal Inn, don't expect to see a roadside sign for it. It's actually part of the Quality Inn, so look for that sign along the road, otherwise you might drive right past it. Overall, a pleasant enough place and a good value if you need a place to stay in the Binghamton area.

The bed was terrible--sagging in the middle. We had no hot water in the morning for showers. They told us we had to wait because the boiler was low because everyone had showered in the morning. Isn't this what most people do when staying in a hotel? They did issue a 20% credit for our inconvenience.
