Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Had to book a smoking room because that was all that was available on-line. However we mentioned this when checking in and the hotel changed us to a non-smoking room.

It was Homecoming weekend and all other hotels in town were sold out but this one. We braced ourselves for an old, not well maintained, unattractive, inconvenient motel, but hoped for clean. We got that and more: Air that smelled stale even though the AC ran 24-7, stained sheets and towels, a spider under the bedspread, and a slow draining tub probably due to a huge clump of hair (not ours). We survived but we aren't as tough as we thought. PS. No wake up call is provided - You must bring your own alarm clock.

VT Football fans will tolerate pretty bad hotels but this one was worse than any I have ever stayed in! Open the room door and you are hit in the face with the strong smell of mold. We felt like leaving immediately, probably should have. All of our clothing now needs to be washed to remove the moldy smell. This place is likely unhealthy for anyone sensitive to mold and might not pass a health inspection.
