I believe that this Budget Inn was Not connected to the Budget Inns that we are familiar with! The room was moldy and dirty; we could not stay there. The manager was angry when we declined to look at another room. He was demanding that we pay the $ cancellation fee in cash,which we refused. We were very uncomfortable and couldn't wait to "Get out of there"!

Our reservation was for 7/31/09 - 8/2/09 . When we arrive it was very late. The room appears to be clean, but when we pull the cover back hair was all over the bed. We were lucky we had two double bed. The towels were dingy, television did not show properly, the room was smelly, sheets has holes, dead bolt locks did notwork, the hot water was unable to adjust properly. I tried to call the office to complain no one answered. I eventually had to walk to the office the next morning where an argument ensued because I called travelocity to complain. The manager was very rude I was told that I was the only one that ever complained. I blame myself because i did not do my homework and read the reviews. At the end we were refunded for the Saturday. We made a new reservation through travelocity at the Best Western which was like a night and day situation. I respectfully advise anyone, please please please I beg you do not stay at this hotel. This hotel is for people who are drug addict, drunks, people who don't have any standards.

I had reservations at the Budget Inn in North Kingston, RI, for August 29th & 30th. When I was dropped at the motel, and checked in, I found my room to be FILTHY and the room smellied like mildew, starting an asthma attack. Electrical outlets, by the bed, weren't working (so I couldn't use my CPAP machine). One lamp was working, with a cord stretching across the room. The phone and shower did NOT work. I couldn't even call the office. I walked over to the office and complained about the condition of this room. The man just yelled at me. I used my cell phone to call for a ride and checked in at another motel. I was charged $* for this filthy, unacceptable room.

We stayed here for only one night to go to the Irish Festival in Newport. We were greeted pleasantly by the Motel Office guy and our room was clean and neat the bathrooms were especilally clean and smelt of bleach which I liked.
