  We recently spend 6 days at the Vagabond Inn in Bishop, CA. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. The location is really convenient for food and gas. We have two dogs that travel with us and this motel is set-up well to accommodate pets. (definitely pet friendly). Overall we were satisified with the motel and would stay there again.

  A decent clean motel....what makes it special are the people that work there. the ladies at the front desk are just great....friendly and helpful.

  This is the worse hotel we have stayed in. checked in at 8:30pm & confirmed pool was open until 10:00. kids put swimsuit on & went down and found no ...

  This is the worse hotel we have stayed in. Checked in at 8:30PM & confirmed pool was open until 10:00. Kids put swimsuit on & went down and found no lighting in pool. It was pitch black & not safe. Did not look clean when we shined a flashlight in but due to no lights could not be sure. Toilet ran all night. Outside smelled like trash & parking lot in back not well lit. Staff said I would have to speak with manager who did not get in until 8am. We checked out at 5am because we could not handle it any longer. Called to talk to manager & he would not take my call & did not return my call.

  I came up to Bishop for some fishing with my husband, so most of the time I stayed in my room, since I get bored fishing easily. The bed was very comfortable, almost like my bed at home, they had a lot of cable channels, and the pool area was a welcome treat in the summer heat. I will come back again!

  The room looked nice and was the hotel was conveniently located. We were on the second floor and there were ants in the bedroom. The continental breakfast was okay. The desk clerk in the evening was very friendly but the morning clerk was not. The computer in the lobby has a very slow internet connection.
