Very nice hotel

The staff was good and pleasant to interact with. As for the hotel, it does not a whirlpool or sauna as depicted in their description. The rooms lack the basic items most travelers use while on business trips or family vacations examples such as in-room safes and refrigerators. I was able to call the front desk and ask for a portable refrigerator. It did not work to good. There were two types of pillows and plenty of them in the room. One type was not suitable for using as a pillow; more for decoration than use. The other sunk flat as the bed when you put your head on them making them of little value. The bed is extremely soft mattress. I am used to a firm so now I have a backache. The bathroom had hairs in the shower and no electronic venting/exhaust system. This meant stream from the shower flooded the room and fogged up the mirrors. The business center had the credit card swipes boxes for using the computers; this is free at more hotels. My wife and I had the breakfast buffet and orange juice and it cost $* plus tip. This is the same breakfast most hotels offer as a complimentary breakfast; no better no worst. Parking cost $* per day. Bottom line: The hotel is dated and I would only recommend this hotel as a last resort.

Check-in was a mess. There was no way they could tell who was next in line and really didn't seem like it mattered to them. I complained and was offered a USA Today newspaper-wow! Room was average, no coffee pot, but it was clean. The mattress and pillows were very soft, not to my husband's liking. People were friendly, but not super informed about happenings in town. Shuttle service was fantastic and prompt.
