We had a wonderful stay at Castle Lanikai. We arrived after office hours but there is a late check in box that makes it easy to check in even then. Office hours are only from 11-3 which we found we were never around during those hours. The room we stayed in was great! The view of the ocean was absolutely picture perfect. We had everything we needed in the unit to cook with, eat with and do laundry too. We even used the grill by the pool. The room was very clean and the grounds were very well kept also. The ocean could get a little rough for swimming with young children but the beach was great to walk on and there are swimming beaches very close by that are fit for the toddler age. Castle Lanikai has a great location kind of in the middle of everywhere you want to go. We had a great stay!

We stayed here with 5 adults and 1 child and had plenty of room. The place was very clean and had everything you needed for your stay. We did some grocery shopping and cooked some meals so as to save on food. There is a great bbq grill on site. Only complaint is it said there was a sofabed, which there wasn't, but there was a rollaway. I never did see tennis courts or hot tub either, and not sure what they mean by childrens activities because there were none of those either. The pool was great though and the grounds very well kept. You are also literaly on the beach which was wonderful. The location is great because you are about halfway on the island so it wasn't far to the North or West sides of the island. We were extremely happy with our stay here and will definitely stay again and recommend it to others!

Castle Lanikai was beautiful. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the island. We had easy access to everything, from shopping to eating to beaches within easy driving distances. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean and was generally very quiet and peaceful. Our family of 5 fit very comfortably. If we are able to return to Kauai, we would definitely stay here. We had until 124--very modern and beautifully updated and comfortable.
