Once we found the motel, (we upgraded our cells a few days later and now have GSP - too late) we were pleased with the friendly staff at check-in. I should have asked for downstairs, as I'm recovering from 2 compression fractures in vertabrae. My fault. And the exercise was good after a day of driving. The room was clean, the couch and bed comfortable, and neighbors were quiet. Restaurants are within walking distance (unless you just broke your back). I can't think of anything about the motel that I can complain about, especially not the price. When we checked out, the waffles really smelled good - wish we could have stayed and enjoyed them.

Perfect for my needs... an overnight on my way to Walla Walla after a late flight into SeaTac. While the description states 24-hour front desk, it was unattended when I arrived at 1AM. I think I woke up the manager's family when I rang the bell, but the desk staff was polite and pleasant, despite the interruption. Clean, quiet, decent complimentary breakfast... and a really reasonable price. Nothing really super special, but no surprises and no drama, so I was happy with the stay.

If you just want a room that isn't a dive, this place was great. Fridge and a microwave. The room was a little on the small side but I just needed a bed. The room was quiet and I even saw a security patrol go by. The front desk was very nicet and the continental breakfast was pretty good too. Aside from the usuals, they supply a couple of waffle irons and batter to make your own fresh! I had a little trouble finding the place (I haad to call) but it was worth it to me. For a simple room I give it 4 stars.

When we got to the room, I used the bathroom and found wet towels from the previous occupant hanging on the door... so my husband took them back and got new ones. I should have known thent that this wasn't a good sign.
Then my 5 year old wanted to take a bath- which was fine until we found there was no plug. We called the front desk and asked for one, but never got one.
My son was going to use the pull-out bed in the little couch in the room and found a sign saying "Couch don't work- don't use".
Then my daughter found a half full diet coke can by the bed... When we went to sleep, one of the beds was off it's base, so when my husband sat down on it before laying down, it fell off the base. So here we both were, at 10:00 at night, shoving and pulling this bed trying to get it squared on the base so he could sleep on it without it tipping over in the middle of the night. I'm sure the people below us loved that.
Speaking of beds, we reserved a "mini-suite" with two queen beds and pull out sofa- we ended up with one small room with a microwave and fridge, a yucky bathroom, no pull out sofa and two full size beds (unless Queens have suddenly shrunk drastically and our bed at home is not really a Queen after all!).
I didn't expect a four star hotel, but this was really pretty bad.
The front desk guy was really nice though! -
Great hotel near convetion center
02/05/2007I chose this hotel based on proximity to the convention center. i was please with the hotel overall and will be returning for our annual conference in yakima.
