I travel to New York frequently and need a no frills hotel. I will not stay here again even though the location is really good. The TV screen read "service not authorized" . The front desk sent someone to check on it but he could not fix it. The sheets were dirty with dark spots. Both safety locks on the door were broken - aparently for some time since they were painted over, The only working lock was a twist button in the doorknob similar to what you would find in a private residence bathroom . Not Secure at ALL, The bedside lamp was broken. The WooGoo could be a satisfactory place because the structure itself is adequate and the location is great with the subway station for the No. 1 train just steps away and dozens of a really good restaurants close byl, but there are some serious problems here that need a lot of attention. This was actually my third stay there because of the price and location but I will not return again.

we arrived at the 73rd & Broadway location only to find that they did not secure a room under our reservation (even when I showed them our confirmation. After half an hour, they said we had no reservation, but my husband and I could have the studio with bunk beds. The girl threw us a bone and said she could move us to another location. We went to 250 West & 43rd instead. The building was really nice with two door men. We got to our room and were really excited at first. It was a one bedroom, so pretty spacious by NYC standards. After a few minutes, we noticed mold in the sink and bathroom. There were no window coverings so you had a clear view into the building across the way and vice versa (i clearly saw straight into several peoples' living rooms). We laid down to go bed, and the white sheets and comforter were stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. The bed frame was broken and there was no box spring, needless to say, it felt like a hammock. The next morning, my husband had to do some work, but the internet that we were promised was not working. We called the customer support line, which turned out to be completely uselss. The manager of the rentals said he would send someone over immediately. After waiting for two hours, no one showed up. We called back five times and he insisted that someone came and we were not there. He eventually snapped at my husband saying to stop calling because it was not his problem. So our TV and internet never worked. I realize that it was an apartment and not a hotel, but they didn't even supply tiolet paper. I would not recommend!!!
