  First rm was smokey, pillows had blood stains on them: not up to my wifes standards (she has cleaned motel rooms for a living in the past) so on to the second rm and still not so good took two more rooms looking into and finally found one clean. This is a very old Motel so do not expect class, just a low cost room. these rooms are (most) small circa 40s 50s building style. As of this writing 5/8/10 desk has mostly new clerks, but seemed willing to help as much as able. Coffee in am was OK. On a score of 1 to 5 where 5 is the highest we give it a 3. Pool was not open as this writing. The resturant next door has good breakfast, lunch and dinner. PaPa Poblano's, not connected to the Motel as far as we knew. Kelly and Danna A. Decatur, Texas

  Do not let the old looks of the motel scare you away. it has everything needed for the corporate traveler: restaurant, newspaper, high speed internet, soft beds, and clean rooms. :-) ...

  Do not let the old looks of the motel scare you away. It has everything needed for the corporate traveler: restaurant, newspaper, high speed internet, soft beds, and clean rooms. :-) Totally awesome place. I stay there about 6 times a year.
