My daughters and I just returned from a 3nt stay(jan4-7 2010). We were pleased with the size of the 2 queen bed suite- there was plenty of room for the three of us. The suite included a mini kitchen with full size refrigerator freezer, microwave, toaster, dishes and flatware as well as an unexpected full size dishwasher. The bathroom was large and clean. The showerhead was placed very high, great for someone over 6ft, A handheld showerhead would be a great addition, as would fluffy towels-ours were stiff. The room could also have used one more light- the reading area wasn't as bright as it could have been. Those were the only negatives. My daughters and I enjoyed the hot breakfast each morning we were there, eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, pancakes or french toast, hot cereal, various cold cereals, milk, juices, coffee-very impressive, There is also a dinner buffet mon tue and wed nts-very good. Overall great stay, one long uphill walk to metro station, friendly staff.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our two teenage kids. The first thing they said when we walked into our suite was WOW! We stayed in the one room queen suite, but we had plenty of room to spread out. There is a TV area and a nice kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and felt great after our long days of walking around DC. It was just a two block walk to the metro which took us everywhere we wanted to go. We had the shuttle drive give us a ride to a grocery store and stocked up on a few things to make sandwiches, etc. The complimentary breakfast was great and very fillling. Our room was clean and the staff was very helpful giving us directions, etc. We were also able to check in early for no charge. We also had a late flight and they were able to keep our suitcases in a back room for us at no extra charge. The only downfall to this hotel was that there was no pool. Our kids would have enjoyed that.

The hotel is perfect for a place to stay while visiting Washington. It is I.5 bloks from a subway 40;10 minutes from the Mall&;. and a $10 dollar cap to George town. Not bad at all.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations! It was a great suite with two queen beds and a full kitchen/living room with balcony. The price was good, and included full buffet breakfast each morning, light dinner three nights a week, and a cookie night on Thursday. The Metro stop was just up the hill, and the hotel shuttle driver took us there and picked us up whenever we needed a ride. The staff was very accomodating and pleasant any time we had questions about the local area. All in all it was a terriffic location with easy access to anywhere in DC. I would definitely stay there again!

10/01/2007This hotel is in a great location and very well appointed. i was very happy with my stay here and would definately return.
THIS HOTEL IS IN A GREAT LOCATION AND VERY WELL APPOINTED. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH MY STAY HERE AND WOULD DEFINATELY RETURN.
