We were put at this hotel by suggestion of director of tournament we were attending. We were told one rate over the phone, made to feel is was the best rate since we were in a group. Upon arrival, the sign out front had a lesser rate posted. When we asked for that rate that they were advertising, it was only given to one family. The air conditioner needed something as we ran on high cool all 3 1/2 days there. Took full 24 hours for room to feel ok and it was only in the 80's. The first morning I woke up to shower, lights in bathroom were not working and when I went to call front desk, my phone was not working. So had to use cell to call front. They had to trip the breakers. One family in our group they woke up to a flooded room, suit cases wet and had to be moved. Room they moved to was hot, of course, but also had no power. The front desk was never friendly about our problems or seem that they wanted to help. Always acted like you were bothering them. Then the final thing that really bothered me was safety. Our key cards to our room kept losing their charge and one time it was my fault, had to close to cell phone, but after that, not sure what was going on. Anyway, made several trips to front desk, dealt with different people each time, and not once was I asked to identify myself before they recharged room key. I could have given them any room number. They never verified anything. Then, because the hotel lobby and hallways were so hot, they left the side doors to the hotel open late into the night .
