The Club Quarters was conveniently located closed to the Freedom Trail and various places to dine. The Elephant and Castle's restaurant was good food although the service was slow in the mornings. The room was nice size with refrigerator and a microwave. We had to call down to housekeeping as the fold away sleeper couch was missing sheets and then pillows. I was told to open a closet near our room to get a pillow, but found that all of them in the closet were quite dirty so we asked for more pillowcases to place on them. Also, we had to ask for towels for the number of guests ( 4) in the room too. The staff was quite friendly and helpful through all this. Nice touches were the purified water bottles (free) that could be filled by guests and the opportunity to have exercise equipment sent to your room. The computers in the lounge and the wi-fi ( free ) were an added bonus. We would stay here again, even with the missing items in the room, just wash the pillows!

the rooms were incredibly small. The beds were so small even my kids feet were hanging over the end. Parking was expensive. I would have rather had a bigger room and free parking a little distance away and then taken the T to get around.

Once I accepted the fact that downtown Boston hotels cost more than $*/night, I was able to find and book Club Quarters. The room I stayed in was adequately clean, functional and quiet. I slept well and had no major complaints. The workout room is good and sometimes busy. The attached restaurant (Elephant and Castle) is also quite good. Access to everything downtown and BCEC made it a very nice stay.

My wife and I stayed here while visiting our daughter's college. The staff was very helpful and we were able to easily print our boarding passes upon leaving. We walked to many of the sites in town and appreciated the refillable water bottles. Being close to the subway enabled us to get to the parts of the city that we didn't want to walk to. Our room was small, but very comfortable and the computer worked fine. The pub next door was convenient and offered tasty food. The only thing negative was at check out we were told that there was an extra person charge for my wife automatically added to the bill. Maybe this is a common practice in Boston, but I had never heard of such a thing. However, we will be staying here again for our next visit.
