The room was a bit small, but well-appointed and clean. Great location -- we were able to walk to North Beach, AT&T Park, downtown, Union Square, and the cable car lines. There was a guest request closet down the hall with blankets, irons, ironing board and free filtered water with refillable bottles -- a very welcome amenity in San Francisco. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel has no parking of its own, but the Embarcadero Center was just around the corner; we paid $32 per day with no in-and-out. We would definitely stay again!

Club Quarters San Fran. is a great place to stay. The staff is amazingly helpful. They gave us directions, recommendations and even a spare cell phone cord. The free water bottles are great. The restaurant in the hotel has a great staff and great food. The rooms are very clean and cozy. They are suited for the business traveler as the rooms are on the smaller size, like that of a European hotel. I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and they knew my name by the time I left. Excellent stay, excellent hotel, highly recommend it.

The rooms are tiny, but that's okay with me. However, the walls are PAPER thin -- you can hear everything in the rooms next to yours. The HVAC systems is ok, but the rooms are stuffy and the window (at least in my room) didn't open. The TV is a 19 inch set from the 1970s. Would not choose this again, unless it was REALLY cheap.
