The room we stayed in had paper thin walls & when asked if we could be moved they would not accomodate it. The pool is small & cold & cannot hold many people. The room was hot & stuffy & the air conditioning was either full blast & noisy or non-existent. The location is not condusive to walking to any amenities either. Overall it was disappointing.

Two friends and I traveled down to Calgary for a performance we absolutely had to see, and we picked the Comfort Inn initially thinking it was the same hotel that two of us had stayed in a year before. It was the wrong hotel, but I am so glad we ended up with it! The hotel itself is wonderfully clean and well kept--great surroundings. The lobby is welcoming, and the hallway outside our room was clean. The room itself is a little small, but had everything you need--two beds, a safe, a mini fridge, a coffee maker, etc. The bathroom is small too, with the toilet facing the door (kind of strange) but not really a big deal, as the door locks. The room is fairly small, but in all honesty we weren't going to be in the room much, so it didn't bother us. Beds were fantastically comfortable--soft and cushy with just the right amount of firmness, and the pillows were great. We all slept in comfort. Continental breakfast was arguably the best spread I've ever seen in a hotel. Cereal, fruit, eggs, toast, pastries, you name it--even a waffle maker, which was pretty much the best thing ever. The room was light and homey, and made breakfast an enjoyable experience. The pool was nice, as well--a fun slide, and a nice-sized pool. Only complaint there (actually, only complaint about the whole hotel) was that the pool was a little cold, and the hot tub was not quite hot enough. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay, and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Was concerned when we arrived because entry to the hotel required key card access and it was the middle of the afternoon. Room was very noisy due to all the street traffic. Felt like we were sleeping outdoors the noise was so loud. Front Desk Manager/Staff were very unhelpful and acted as if they were being inconvenienced when asking for directions downtown. Given proximity to downtown area, staff was not knowledgeable of the area. While they indicate they have free continental breakfast, I would barely consider the offering worthy of continental billing. While stay covered a busy time in Calgary, the rates commanded were extremely out of line with the quality and amenities of the facility.

Very dissatisfied with the overall service and attitude of the staff/General Manager. Late check in gave us a room with paint/glue fumes next to elevator- hotel refused request to move 1st nite. Next day after 2 requests finally moved-still charged 60% for room after 3 requests to be moved. Asked for towels in pool & told to use room towels. At check out G.M told me that I had other hotels to choose from if I was unhappy with service and costs and I wasn"t forced to stay with them.
