I stayed here on a Friday night. When I arrived the lobby was filled with middle school boys lacrosse players. I specifically asked at the desk if I was near them and was told I was not even on the same floor. Well I was right in the middle of the group that kept me up basically all night. Management was no help at all and has refused to return my calls to date. Room was also outdated.

We stayed at the Carrier Circle Comfort Inn in Syracuse, NY. Booked through Travel Agency, the hotel let us check in a couple of hours early as we had been driving all night and needed to rest before the Big game. The first people in the door were from our hometown and the hotel staff couldn't be friendlier. It felt like we were in our team's host hotel! The room was clean and comfortable and well maintained. Though we never made it down to breakfast due to our schedule, we saw evidence that it was much more than a bagel and cold cereal with a waffle maker and fresh fruit and eggs. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained also. The experience was a pleasure and every aspect of the trip was pleasant, the ease of getting a cab to the Dome, the friendly housekeeping staff, the accessible parking, everything as advertised!

Great place! The staff are very courteous. I accidentally booked a King smoking room through this site and only realized it the morning I was leaving and printed out my confirmation stuff. I called them directly and although this site didn't show any King non-smoking rooms available, they did have one available and there was no problem switching my room, which included a jacuzzi tub too! The rooms (particularly bathrooms) do seem a bit run-down and need some overhaul, but they are nice and clean. The towels were sparkling white and nice and fluffy. It was a great room for the money!

We stayed for 5 nights. The 1st thing we noticed was that the hotel backed up to a dilapidated, condemned Howard Johnsons. The hotels parking lot was very dark. After we went to our room, we noticed the bathtub was very dirty......the base of the toilet had not been cleaned and on our 2nd night there, my wife killed a very large spider in the room. on our 4th night, our cable tv went out and I called the front desk around 6pm...I was told no one could look at it till the next day and they offered us another room instead...we just turned off the TV.....I guess I shouldn't have expected alot.....it was an inexpensive rate and the breakfast wasn't bad....

We were surprised that the hotel is located behind a McDonald's across the street from a factory in an industrial area (the next morning we found that next door there is also an abandoned, gutted motel). When we got to our room after midnight, worn out from a long and difficult drive, we turned down the covers to find a bedbug crawling along under the pillow. The staff was very nice and responded immediately by moving us to upgraded room. However, the non-smoking room smelled as if someone had smoked there, and the smoke alarm was hanging from the wall as if tampered with. The whirlpool tub had two inches of water standing in it -- not appealing, even as a complimentary upgrade. This property did not live up to our expectations for a Comfort Inn.
